U2 ook op de Kerstmis '08 soundtrack
U2 heeft voor het (RED)Wire project, dat geld inzamelt voor HIV patiënten in Afrika, een nieuwe kerstsingle gelanceerd. 'I Believe in Father Christmas' is de naam van het nummer (dat oorspronkelijk in 1975 uit de pen van Greg Lake kwam) en de videoclip kun je checken na de klik. Beloof me dat je daarna meteen weer aan de pepernoten gaat...

Just for the record: Wij zijn geen hippe, snobistische muziekfreaks die zo nodig hun excentrieke muzieksmaak aan onschuldige muziekliefhebbers willen opdringen. Wij vestigen onze aandacht gewoonweg op bepaalde cd's / liedjes / artiesten die ons weten te raken. Veelal het werk van echte muzikanten. En dan kom je al snel uit bij het zogenaamde indie genre, waar wij veelvuldig de krenten uit de steeds grote pap proberen te vissen. Reeds gevestigde, tegen mainstream aanhangende namen worden uiteraard ook niet vergeten. Oude liefde roest immers niet. Of u het allemaal ook mooie muziek vindt, is natuurlijk een ander verhaal...
